Is it too late for me to date?

I am 31male n have never had a relationship! I asked girls out on dates in school and my early 20's, but got rejected. Ive kissed a few girls when drunk while out at partys, but not many. I was always overweight but recently have just finished my diet and have lost 70lbs! I always felt ugly, i was bullied tho! My friends all tell me how good im looking and when i look in the mirror i think sometimes i look quite sexy! Other times tho i think i look ugly still, my body is far from perfect, i have stretch marks and a bit of flab on my belly but not too much as ive been excersising the whole time and i have thinning hair on top which really bothers me! I long for a girlfriend, one of my friends wives little sister was at a party the other day she's only 22, she is so beautiful, i imagine how it would feel to touch her skin, if i was in bed with her i would be the luckiest guy in the world! My mate said 'she's single?' but i dont know what to do, could she like me? She could have any guy!!

Women look good on the outside but we are not perfect either. We also get stretch marks and can have flab under our clothes. You need to gain some confidence and then women will be attracted to you just because you have confidence. Tell yourself every day that you are a handsome man and do this until you believe it. When you really believe it, it will show and other people will believe it also just by looking at you.

ok u got to be kidding me..ur 31 yrs old and u lost wieght and u dont know wat to do to get a girl.ok lets c...u have a freind who has a sis tht is 22. start talkin to her get to know her..ask her out be nice caring i mean it is soo obvious..i mean i went without a bf for a long time but u got to put ur head in the game stop being insecure...if u want a girl so badly find one who would want u for u.

anything is possible and dont think ur ugly cuz if you do that you will be. juz continue exercising, eat healthy and be nice always cuz girls will always luv a guy with a golden heart so yea dont worry juz talk to her

Thanks for asking such a difficult question. I'll try to give you a straight up answer. You gotta go for the girl that you really want, because A, you might just get her, or B, you'll be so damn proud you went for her your confidence will carry you to your real future girlfriend/wife. As well, women don't rank looks as number 1, like us guys do. They rank it as number 2. I've heard many different answers, but I'd have to say confidence (or humor) is number one for what women look for in men. So, if you're not confident yet, what do you need to do to feel proud of yourself (if at least for a couple weeks while you date)? Do those things and forget about women until they are done (might be get a better job, go skydiving, or travel to Thailand, etc.)

God created 50% women and 50% men on this planet for a reason. There's someone out there for you, and she's probably better looking than you think! Good luck!

its never too late....and if you don't give it a shot then you will never know....nobody is perfect,everyone has stretch marks and your past is behind you.......70lbs way to go! congratz im proud of you, now take that pride and invest it on your self, you are obviosuly dedicated so......go ahead, worst that can happen is nothing happens between you too.....then it will be on to ur next choice......good luck and SMILE! :) because you will never know when some one is going to fall in love with that smile

Its possible not all people look at whats outside but whats inside because that most important talk to her about things

for strech marks to make them fade go to cvs and buy coco butter it makes them fade away

for your hair get shampoo and conditioner that makes your hair thicker

and that might help you out and just ask her to get coffee or see a movie somtime with you... good luck

a 22 year old may be a little to young but y shudnt u be able to date there are people in there like 50s and stuff who date and get married i know people over 60 who got married just recently!! and who cares about a big age dif cuz u and that 22 year old cud have a lot in common and who knows maybe she wants a man that is older so its ur call ask her out wut do u have to lose you can only gain at this point!!! good luck!!: P

Hi, Im 22 years old and in a situation very similar to yours. I only knew a handful of girls back in high school and now we parted ways. I was out of shape in the last 3 years and i used to smoke, but now ive been smoke free since august and i got back in shape and i certainly feel better about myself... but no luck.

The reason is conversation skills, im just terrible at it especially with women.

As long as your confident and as long as you know what to say, and more importantly HOW to say it, your good to go; you should ask her out.

If your not... chances are, you might still make it work but not by a long shot.

If your just slightly shy, theres plenty of several self help books on how to deal with anxiety on the shelves, and theres lots of books to help you with your conversations skills.

If you get highly anxious, I would reccommend seeing a pshychiatrist... and Im trying to save for one because i get sever anxiety attacks.
