I like halle's pixie cut but the one that's a little more grown in on you. You have an oval face..so bobs and cuts that have more volume horizontally look good on you.. they should be at or above your chin line. I have the problem with wearing my hair up alot too. It's something you really have to get yourself out of because it becomes a habit. And you have pretty hair so you should show it off. Short hair is a great idea because if you have it short enough you won't be able to wear it up but you can still clip it away from your face when you need to. Remember it's going to be more upkeep because you won't be just tieing it up anymore.

Here's one i think would look great on you. I like how Jennifer Lopez keeps is neat like in the first link but I think you should go shorter like Christina's hair in the second link.

You have pretty hair with curls.. i think the playing it up is not a bad thing. But if you decide to wear it straight some days it will still look like a cute bob.

Here is an example of what i mean about your face shape.

You can see here Hilary also has a long face.. and in this first link without bangs or layers above the chin her face looks really long.

Then she has this cut with more volume on the sides and the side part sort of cuts down on the space of the forehead. Her face doesn't look quite as long.

I wish I could pull off some of these cuts. I personally like the second one with bangs and choppiness. I could never pull it off because my face is round =( I agree with the others that you should go short in stages so it's not so much of a shock.

i think you should try chemically straightening your hair. i think it would look good short too. you should try shoulder length or near your chin. adding a little color to your hair like a deep brown would look good too.

I think you look really good with blonde highlights...like what you already have now for color...maybe a little more blonde...and really short and funky like the girl in the pics not hally berry but the other girl...i think it would suit you really well ....you would look like a bad *** chick :P

go for short hair cut. Maybe hair rebonding will suit u. ask ur stylist.

since you've had long hair for ten years, i would definitely go short in stages. that way, if you get to chin length (probably the second stage) and you realize that it isn't what you want or it's more upkeep than you were expecting, you'll have an easier time growing it out. remember, short "effortless" hair is usually as much upkeep, if not more, as long hair. you need to have it trimmed FREQUENTLY and you'll need product to keep your curls defined and less puffy. also keep in mind that there WILL be an awkward growing-out period, that is usually pretty rough, whenever you decide you want long hair again.

you have great hair. i think the problem at the moment tho is that it isn't short and it isn't long - i reckon you could pull off both tho.

if i were you though i'd start growing it super super long like the old kerri russell do - that would look HOT!

you should try messing about with how you style it if you keep it long though. like straighten the bits around your face and generally just messy it up a bit - or pile it all up higher on your head and wear a headband or scarf or something?
