Do women wax/shave their hands and legs cuase they have more hair then men or cuase society thinks i

cuz it's the norm in places like America. In other places, women don't shave/wax. Also, people more in tune w/the hippie culture just let the hairs grow.

Mostly, I'd say shaving/waxing is society influenced cuz I don't find waxing very relaxing.

However, there are some who just feel better being hair free, or those who actually like waxing for the masochistic factor.

Women definently don't shave/wax because they have more hair. In fact, women have significantly less hair then men. Having hairless legs, arm pits...whatever, is simply a trend that women have followed throughout time...although personally I enjoy being hairless

They have less hair than men...

But yeah, it's more sexy

Its more of an American thing (semi-worldly due to we export or pop culture). Kinda nit picking but hairless isn't necessarily as sexy as hair is unsexy here, if that makes any sense. Every culture has their standards of beauty. Chinese women used to bind their feet. African cultures put rings around their necks or plates in thier lips. Being heavy was once in fashion (reubenesc) So society is the answer in my opinion.
